Bremerton Brigade Report
March Third
Fifteen souls braved the cool misty morning to participate in the Saint Patrick's Day Shoot. Seems some leprechauns beat us to the range and painted the targets Kelly Green with a few coated in gold.
Scoring was on the honor system and participants were called to the prize table starting with the high score. There wea a bonus presented the four Irishmen that braved the wrath of their counterparts and wore the shamrock head bands.
To protect the integrity of the event no names need be mentioned in this report

Note: there was also a work party to prep and seed the triangle area in front of the cook shack after the shoot.

Black Powder Report for February 2008
The Bremerton Brigade held our monthly shoot on Feb. 3 @ 10:00 am. Some of our friends from Puyallup and Canada came out to enjoy our Supper Bowl shoot.
Billy Daly put on this month contest to see who could get the most points since we had to keeps score this time.
Maureen Austin won the liars shoot being the only one to shoot and pop a balloon.
On our roll playing shoot Ann Rumbaugh and Renita Foust along with Dogspit and Boyd Phillips were the only 2 groups that were able to shoot another balloon and pop it . Did I forget to mention, that Ann and Boyd were blindfolded and shooting? Guess Renita's and Dogspit's eyes are still good enough to have Ann and Boyd pop those bad boy balloons.
All had a great time and everyone was able to still get home in plenty of time to watch the Giants beat the Patriots.
The Brigade will be traveling to Puyallup on February 24th for the Tri-Club shoot. We will try real hard to bring back the ugly trophy to our club again this year.
Come join us next month on March 2 @ 10:00 for our St Paddies shoot that is being put on by our own Frank Tierney aka.. Camp Boy
Black Powder Report for January 2008
T
he Brigades first shoot of 08 produced 8 shooters including a contingent of three from our friendly rivals in Puyallup. This shoot also brought in a first time muzzle loader The Bonny Lass "Maureen Austen", whose squeals of delight could be heard each time she made medal ring or put a hole in the black. Maureen was heard to say that this way of shooting is a lot of fun, that she is hooked and wants her own gun! We all hope to see her on the like again. This time targets were mostly paper with a few side shoots of some of the metal. Also some soup cans (empty) filled with water were set up just for fun. Man did they ever blow up and create an interesting water explosion. It was difficult to determine a winner as there were some irregularities for scoring, such as no name on targets, targets not turned in etc. But the general consensus was the Mark Curtis of the Puyallup Plainsmen was overall winner because of all the shots he had on his 2 Bull Buffalo target. Mark being the generous plainsmen that he is donated his score to the newest pilgrim-The Bonny Lass "Maureen" who is overall winner in the January 08 Bremerton Brigade monthly shoot.
